Human beings are insane, they create their own problems and turnaround to blame people for it. Marijuana according to National Institute of Health(NIH) is dried leaves, stems, seeds and flowers from Cannabis Sativa or Cannabis Indica plant. Evidence abound that the plant contains mind-altering chemical known as delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol(THC). The use or abuse of this drug is growing at an exponential rate with a devastating effects of our youths and some adults. The legalization of marijuana is a combination of love for money and a group of politicians that are yet be diagnosed with a mental health. In addition, the world population is always searching for a way to self implode.......marijuana unfortunately is a special vehicle. Is money more important than human beings?
Statistically, marijuana has both short term and longterm effects on human brain. According to NIH finding, after smoking marijuana also called "Igbooo" in Nigeria(EDEWOR NANA), THC rapidly passes from lungs into the bloodstream. The blood circulates this chemical to our brains and other organs therein. Evidentially, the THC acts on specific brain cells receptors and these chemicals play a significant role in normal brain development and functioning.
Obviously, marijuana over activates the part of the brain containing these receptors resulting in consumers feeling "high" and the following side effects are evidential:
- Altered sense of time
- Changes in mood
- Impaired body movement
- Impaired memory
- Hallucinations(associated with high doses)
- Delusions(associated with doses)
- Psychosis(associated with regular use of high potency of cannabis)
