Is technology abating corruption, insecurity, terrorism and prostitution? Why or why not?

Technology like every other human invention has its merits and demerits. Evidentially, technology has impacted our daily events positively. It speeds up the growth of businesses, improves and simplifies education, ease communication and a host of other good components too numerous to mention.   To every three dimensional structure, physical or otherwise, the advantages and disadvantages are on a seesaw. Palpably, technology is an overt and covert catalysts to the growth and proliferation of corruption, insecurity, terrorism and prostitution in our societies across the globe. Unfortunately, there are no global laws or national laws to mitigate these monsters. The big tech companies(Facebook, WhatsApp, Youtube etc) are harvesting Millions dollars from this inimical enclaves. Should there be a transnational law(s) to inhibit this cankerworms? Your thoughts?
