Facebook versus Youtube, which platform is more useful to people around the world?

All social media(the big ones; Youtube and Facebook) and blog such as this provocativedebate.com can drive anybody insane. In other words, they are big distractions and some of their products and questions can be depressive. That said, these media are very useful and educational. For instance, I have referenced www.provocativedebate.com in a postgraduate paper, guess what? My professor approved of it.    Personally, I have reviewed some of the Youtube contents........they are as useful as what we learn in various universities. In addition, the contents are very useful for self training and education. Though, some of the materials are poorly put together. Furthermore, Facebook contents are massive and if well carefully exploited......one benefit from Facebook tremendously. Both Facebook and Youtube are good in their own right but, I prefer Youtube because of the pictorial contents. Your thoughts? Welcome to www.provocativedebate.com.
