If AI is secretly fed with lies and misinformations, what impacts would it have on humanities over the Globe?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the developmental microcosm of a computer systems, process and software with the capability of carrying out activities that are usually done by human cerebral.For instance, reasoning, learning, perception, solution to conundrum and languages etc. It can work 24/7 with no sign of fatigue. But it has list of merits and demerits. The question before us now goes thus; If an AI system is infested with lies and misinformation, what impact would it have on humanities?  Obviously, if an AI is utilized well it will be a blessing to mankind. But, if bad guys chose to create chaos, the system can be infested with lies and misinformation that could create a Tsunami with disruptive impacts. It can be weaponized pre, peri and post war with severe cascading impacts. In addition, it could be employed to cheat in an election, cheat in an exam, disrupt a security system, disrupt airport operations, create chaos in wall street and the lotto system and so forth. All the aforementioned disadvantages can result from infesting the AI system with lies and misinformation covertly leading to a colossal fallouts globally on humanities.
