Who is the friend of the government, the big corporations or the citizens? Your thoughts?

The government is created to the friend of the citizens because, democracy is the government of the people by the people and for the people. But, politicians are good covert planners to divide and conquer the people. They are friends to the ordinary people during elections and friend of the corporation during decision making. Based on the fact that corporation sponsor or invest in many politicians while running for offices, they are influenced or manipulated by the big corporations. Until the ordinary me and you figure out these group of people's behaviors and come up with an antidote, this conundrum will will remain vicious circle. If the common people cannot come out to vote these sweet talking politicians out of offices and replace them with one of them......the beats go on!
